"Cahan Tobacco International" LLC Tobacco Breeding Center started its activity in March 2017. The center of tobacc o cultivation was established in the territory of the village of Khinjab of Kangarli region on 2.6 hectares. Initially, in 2017, Virginia and Izmir oriental tobacco were planted in 9 hectares for testing purposes in Kangarli region. Good results and pleasant 12 tons of dry tobacco were obtained from the tests.

Tobacco growing center has 5 greenhouses( total size 2304 m2), 2 warehouses with half open and full closed 400 m2, 1 office building with 200 m2, 2650 m2 of tobacco drying area.
In 2018, 41.1 ha of Izmir Oriental and Virginia tobacco were planted in the territory of Kangarli, Sharur and Babek regions.
