New automobile sales and service centre

On the 29-th of May a solemn ceremony took place on the occasion of opening a new automobile sales and service centre of Cahan Motors, which is the official Opel dealer in Azerbaijan. Trading-service complex consists of exhibition hall, service centre, warehouse and spare parts shop.

            At press-conference, which preceded the main part of the event, GM eõåñutive sales director in Central and Eastern Europe - Chris Lacey, GM sales, marketing and post marketing director in Rumania, Bulgaria, Baltic states and new markets - Alexander Moinov, the president of Cahan Holding - Vugar Abbasov answered the questions of journalists.

            The representatives of GM expressed their satisfaction with the development of the automobile market of Azerbaijan in the whole and with the work of local Opel dealer in particular. It became known, that Cahan Motors is planning to get the dealership of one more GM brand in the near future. But the performers didn’t specify which brand. In our opinion it can be SAAB. Answering Autograph’s observer about the planning volumes of sales, the President of Cahan Holding Mr. Vugar Abbasov said about some 200 automobiles this year with the increase of this figure up to 350-400 in the year 2009.

            Such models as Corsa, Astra, Vectra, Tigra, Zafira were presented to the attention of gathered people. By the autumn a new Opel leader – Insignia model will have appeared in our market.
