The enterprise began its activity in December, 2006.

The equipment, which has been installed in “Cahan Tea”, was brought frоm South America, Italy and Hungary. At the enterprise, alongside with packing of three kinds of tea packs on 100, 250 and 500 grams, it is made the packing of disposable packages on 50 grams and the open packing on 100 grams of the natural herbs, growing in the territory of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The raw materials, used in the production, are brought frоm a number of countries. These countrie are mailnly Hungary, Turkey.

Due to good partnership with Sri Lanka “AKBAR BROTHERS LTD” company, which is #1 among the tea export companies frоm Sri Lanka,  “Cahan Tea” involved in distribution of well known brand “AKBAR” and also in producing own brands based on Ceylon tea. 

In the whole, about 50 workers work at this factory. Along with the high salary, they are provided with a free-of-charge dinner and a special transport.
